Anyone seen my blender?RichMachine here. I'm a Sydney-born drummer, visual artist and web designer. Apart from these I also like to mix multimedia with art and performance. Experimental, percussion based music compliments artistic projects of an arty nature. Improvistaion with collaborators is the pinnacle and it's been like minded artists that have helped my MACHINE project to take shape. I have also studied Chinese Medicine and mixed it with drumming to create DRUM ENERGICS . Currently on-line, this site is about to launch into some free tutorials that show how both modalities complement each other and allow for an improved technique, healthy outlook and ability to understand the sonic nature of druma and percussion. This site has been created to positively advance the healing and artistic field of modern drumming. It's non-profit (donations accepted) and relates its ideas to Chinese Philosophy, Medicine, Tai Qi and Western Drums/Percussion. Check it out. My plans are to carry on the Machine project, make more cheap websites, films and stuff. I'm also refreshing my skills acquired through acupuncture school by doing an intensive TuiNa course. It's likely more information will be added to Drum Energics.
