Ultra + T = Regatz
Simulacra mp3 :: : Eggplanter mp3 :: : Email Ultra T :: The fire of truth wells up from within. Short circuit to Melbourne mid 80s. I helped form several experimental rock/jazz bands - Mental Health Foundation, Mulch, Spatula, Big Bulletts On Wheels. As well as developing an interest in zine making, I experimented with the placement of sound pick-ups on found objects and sonic explorations of analogue synths while riffing my way through Melbourne's inner-city afro beat bands. From Melbourne to Sydney. In Sydney I teamed up with Stud & Track to explore improvisation with movie overlays and split-screen projections. I also performed a series of gigs with Pterodactyl Man at Glenworth Valley and Micheal Sheriden and Lenny Bastion at Marrickville's Pad Cafe (9/11/2002). Since then I have have been working with the Tap Gallery's poets. I enjoy a disciplined freedom that gives full expression to the spirit. I like sound to break through or transcend into another dimension. 
My Current Projects include studio and live performance with MACHINE, appearances at performance poetry nights and writing of new material both musical and literary. I'm looking forward to collaborations with many more experimental performance artists in the future. |
