For over fifty years
the Piccolo Cafe Bar has been a hub for Sydney's Kings Cross and arts community. Many have had an experience to remember after walking through the doors. The cafe has been a lifeline for three generations. Due to its longevity, the Piccolo has appeared in books and documentaries that depict the lives of Kings Cross artists, locals and tourists.

Through to Piccolo history.

To Quote George Negus (ABC Tv): "...our location is Sydney's notorious Kings Cross, as good a spot as you'll get for any number of nocturnal activities, like discotheques, snooker halls and...other stuff that's usually done indoors in private between consenting adults, if you know what I mean. Longtime Cross dwellers - and they do still exist - will tell you that these days, the older bohemian atmosphere of the place is pretty much gone. But if you use some imagination, you can still catch a nostalgic whiff of it at places like the Piccolo cafe."

Not forgetting the sweet life, TEAHNA BANANA GELATERIA is always open for business. Featuring a large variety of chocolates and gelato, you can eat in or take away a gift pack for that special someone.
Named after Tina and Lorenzo's daughter Teahna, it's close to neighbouring boutique shops and nightclubs.
